During stressful times, it is difficult to take time, reflect your experiences and become aware of your strengths and development areas. A clear view on your personality opens new potentials and options.
Every person is unique and different from others. In relations with others, we encounter perfect matches and at the same time misunderstandings and conflicts which need clarification. The Golden Personality Profiler (GPP) is a global instrument to display individual behavioral preferences in everyday situations and explores self-perception and external perceptions.
The GPP is based on the theories of C. G.Jung and followed the reserach of Myers-Briggs and further developped by John Golden: Our personal preferences and traits determine our behavioural patterns and allow a variety of actions. Individual characteristics are described in five core personality dimensions, which are reported in the following global scales:
Following the personality type theory, the global scales are connected to 16 personality types. The GPP covers personal behaviours and offers an accurate and deep understanding of a person’s individual characteristics. Each of the above mentioned dimensions is further described in four detailed facet scales providing an individual and unique picture of personality.
Based on a developmental personality approach, the GPP follows a holistic approach to everyday life. It provides insights into potential, qualities and development opportunities. At the same time it describes your responses to daily stressors.
The GPP raises self-awareness and consciousness. You discover similarities and differences in human behavior when it comes to team work and cooperation. On this basis, possible causes for conflicts and misunderstandings are shown offering new perspectives for solutions. The result report describes personal preferences, competencies, strengths and possible development areas. In our individual feedback meeting, we discuss your results and the implications for your current and future situations.
As a consultant, I have been successfully working with the GPP since the first edition in 2004. In practice my clients integrate their development steps into their work life. The neutral personality tool supports this journey effectively and enables efficient and sustainable results.
The GPP is an online testing instrument. You receive the access information with your personal login data via email. Then you may answer the questions and GPP items at your own space and convenience. The report includes 20 pages, which we will discuss and verify during our personal feedback session. Of course, all results will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the applicable EU data protection rules. The GPP is available in German and English.
